Legal Aid Clinic inaugurated at Pangin
a Legal Aid Clinic established by the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority supported by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, GOI was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Siang district Rajeev Takuk. Speaking on the occasion, Member Secretary, APSLSA Budi habung stated that the main objective for the establishment of the legal aid clinic is to ensure access of equal justice to all in consonance with the provisions laid down in the constitution by providing free legal aid to the poor and needy. He gave detailed information on the objectives, role and responsibilities of Legal Services Authority, working of the legal aid clinic etc.
JMFC cum Secretary, DLSA Siang Sonia Ketan, PD DRDA Tajing Jonnom, EAC(Judicial) Kamin Darang, CO Pangin Pebika Lego, CDPO Pangin Omang Taloh and a host of other officers including those from police department, HGBs and GBs from adjoining villages, members of Sinag Bar Association, Public Leaders, NGOs, women groups, schools students, teachers and general publics were present.
